Average sold price up 7 percent
The selling price for single-family detached and attached homes in Denver rose to
$449,968, a 7 percent increase over September 2016.
The inventory of homes for sale in Denver also grew 2.3 percent to 1,967. Meanwhile, new listings fell just over 3 percent to 1,528 (as compared to 1,580 at the same time last year).
Sold listings decreased this month by 18.9 percent. However, they continue to sell quickly. On average, single-family homes are selling in less than one month, within 25 days.
Homes continue to sell at virtually the full asking price. Homeowners receive, on average, 99.7 percent of their asking price, holding steady with 2016’s percent-of-sold price to list price.
