The selling price for single-family detached and attached homes in Denver rose to $490,797, a 14.7 percent increase over October 2016.
The inventory of homes for sale in Denver fell 5 percent to 1,651. However, new listings rose almost 2 percent to 1,260 (as compared to 1,236 at the same time last year).
Sold listings fell again this month by 16.8 percent. However, the lack of inventory continues to have a positive effect on the total days on market. Single-family homes continue to sell in less than one month (just 27 days, to be exact).
Homes continue to sell for just under the full asking price. Homeowners receive, on average, 99.5 percent of their asking price, which is just .01 percent down from October 2016.
