Bradford Real Estate is once again stepping up to support the Sunnyside Music Festival, Denver’s only community-owned grass roots neighborhood music festival. BRE will have a booth at the fair and will raffle off a bicycle.
Chaffee Park at 44th Ave. and Tejon St. is home to the Sept. 9 festival, which will run from noon to 7:30 p.m.
The free festival isn’t just live music, it also features a fun kids’ area, local eateries, two beer gardens and artisan vendors.
A mainstay of the northwest Denver neighborhood, the Sunnyside Music Festival supports musicians, artists, businesses, schools and nonprofit organizations. New charities are chosen annually to receive grants from the festival. In 2016, Girls Rock Denver, North High School Choir, Ricardo Flores Magnon Academy and Colorado Children’s Chorale were the grant recipients ─ all selected for their efforts to connect kids and music.
Come out for a great day of amazing live entertainment. Here is this year’s musical lineup:
- Silverplume ─ Noon
- Kerry Pastine ─ 1:15 p.m.
- Mama Magnolia ─ 2:30 p.m.
- Ritmo Jazz Latino ─ 3:45 p.m.
- Erica Brown with Lyrically Speaking ─ 5 p.m.
- DeadPhish Orchestra ─ 6:15 p.m.
