When I founded Bradford Real Estate in 1994, my intent was never to have a large real estate company. However, as often happens, one thing led to another, and now 15 other agents have joined me in making Bradford Real Estate a customer service-oriented neighborhood firm that is like family.
Since early in my career, my wife and I have been renovating homes in northwest Denver, so I have in-depth knowledge of older homes, development and investment real estate. I can guide a buyer on how much certain improvements will cost and help sellers get top dollar for their property. If you’re looking for investment property, I can offer you sound advice based on my experience renting and managing property.
I have been in real estate markets where it has taken six months to sell a house and others where it took six seconds, so I understand the importance of marketing your property. From classic print media to social media and everything in between, knowing the best tried-and-true methods as well as finding new ways to market is essential.
Pretty simple: treat people how you want to be treated and put their interests first. Only good follows from there. I will tell you the pros and the cons with every transaction and will negotiate on your behalf to get you what you want.
Brad Lewis is the best agent we have ever dealt with in home purchases/sales. He and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable to our West Highlands area. They went well beyond all expectations in helping us to prepare, organize repairs, professionally stage and sell our home. The proof is in our results!
I live far away and needed to quickly secure a property. Brad, who was recommended by a trusted source, was my on-the-ground rep. I gave him my needs by email and phone, then saw several properties over one weekend. All fit my requirements; one exceeded expectations. He was excellent in negotiations with the seller's agent. He also managed all fixes as agreed and found reputable service people.
I would not hesitate to recommend or use Brad again! Flexible, knowledgeable, astute and going above and beyond are just a few of the ways I’d describe how he worked with us during the process of buying our home. And the staging and cleaning job his team did for the sale of our 116-year-old house made it look top notch. So much so, that we had five offers on the second day it was listed, and Brad negotiated a price that was more than 5 percent over list.
I bought my first home when I was 25. It was only a 350-square-foot condo but it was mine. I kept the property as a rental after my wife bought a 1920s bungalow in a neighborhood that, at the time, wasn’t really on the map. Little did we know that north Denver would become known as the Highlands and then Sunnyside, Berkeley, LoHi, etc. ‒ one of the most happening neighborhoods in Denver and where I chose to open Bradford Real Estate.

I love to watch—
Car shows. Someday I’ll own a classic car. And I watch owl videos like most people watch cat videos.
My best-ever vacation—
In 2016, my wife and our 15-year-old twins went to Scandinavia and Russia. We stayed in Airbnbs and immersed ourselves in the local culture. It was challenging, what with the language barrier. But the locals were more than helpful, and we all fell in love with Russia and its people. A great experience all around!
Ice hockey and am a member of recreational teams around Denver.
